Freedom Of Information
The Freedom Of Information Act requires all public authorities to make certain information available to the public as part of its normal business activities. The Parish Council is subject to these rules and this page outlines how we satisfy our legal duty.
The Model Publication Scheme demonstrates our commitment to publishing the required information.
The Parish Council Information Guide tells you where you can find the relevant pieces of information and outlines any costs that would be incurred by a request. Before requesting information from the Parish Council, please first check this document to see if we hold the information you require and, if we do, where it is held. Much of the required information is already published on this website.
It is important to note that our publication scheme simply sets out the information that is routinely available. Information that is not listed in the Information Guide document can still be requested and it will be made available unless it can be legitimately withheld.
Further information about the Act is available from the Information Commissioner's Office at www.ico.gov.uk
